OzHarvest is Australia’s leading food rescue organisation on a mission to ‘Nourish our Country’ by stopping good food from going to waste and delivering it to charities that help feed people in need.

OzHarvest’s yellow vans are out and about in communities every day, collecting quality surplus food from a network of donors, including supermarkets, cafes, delis, restaurants, corporate kitchens, airlines, hotels, and other food businesses.

Through their education programs and our advocacy work, OzHarvest hopes to inspire others to change behaviour and help reach the national target of halving food waste by 2030.

Onja is a social enterprise in Madagascar that trains capable, underprivileged youth into world class software developers and places them in global tech teams. Excitingly, students receive life-changing work and pay forward the opportunity to future students, hugely contributing to the development of their communities.
Hear from our developer Sandy: “I had never heard of coding before and I came here to Onja in hope of getting a good salary as a coder to help pay for my siblings’ education. Now all that is possible since I became a professional front-end developer and I love my job.”

The Magic Coat

The Magic Coat is a charity that provides mental health programs and resources to children under the age of twelve. Statistics show that children’s mental health is deteriorating rapidly with children as young as seven self-harming and suiciding. The programs include parent and teacher programs that teach a common language for mental health in children and are run in prisons, women’s refuges, foster care, hospitals and schools.

The bright coloured characters and the Magic Coat keep children happy and engaged to learn these important strategies.
